Thewphaingarm English Camp 2015
May 29, 2015

TPG held the first of many English camps at the Sida resort in Nakhon Nayok during summer school this year on the 21st and 22nd of April; and was attended by 51 of our students from grades five to twelve. The camp was packed full of activities to encourage the use of English through speaking, reading, writing, and listening. To enable this, all the activities were ran by our foreign teachers, with the help of Zoom who graduated last year and Nine from grade 12.

All the activities were great fun both indoors and outside, and were designed to encourage the use of English through participation and collaboration. The camp was held over two days and was full of enjoyment. The fun started when the students took part in some games which were designed to separate them into equal groups so that each group included student from all ages, there were five groups in all. Activities included treasure hunts, writing games, listening games and balloon games. The resort also provided exciting activities in their adventure park such as a death slide, climbing wall and archery.

The camp was a great success and provided many opportunities for our students to practice English. Thankyou to everyone involved, and we hope the next English Camp will be just as good.
